It’s about that time again to take your furever friend for a walk, and what better place to go than to a city park. Get out in the fresh air and let your pup stretch their legs at Gladstone Park in Chicago, Illinois. Parking at this location has never been easier. There are ample spaces along the side roads adjacent to the land.
You will find this park surrounded by beautiful wrought iron railings which enclose this one acre. Fido will love taking a walk on the paved paths within the park, or not through the lush, green grasses. For an extended visit, you can hike around the perimeter of the park itself on the concrete sidewalks. All the paths are level, so they are perfect for any pupability. Many mature trees cover the grounds of Gladstone, so there is plenty of shade to offer your puptastic friend as a break from the hot Chicago summers.
Although small, this outing will do you both a world of good by getting a bit of exercise into your schedule. Your pup will love seeing the park’s other amenities, such as a smaller fieldhouse where community events are held, and the outdoor attractions such as a junior field for soccer, and a basketball court. And what park would be complete without a playground with a water feature? Restrooms are conveniently located in the building, but you can find seasonal drinking fountains outdoors. Bring water during the colder months, and clean up bags to help kee the park looking pawsome! Please keep your pup on leash while you are visiting.
Your time at Gladstone Park will be pawtastic since you are with your furry friend.
