With lots of shade, this park will seem anything but harsh. This small and fenced-in park has open gates on the eastside, where visitors can park their cars on the adjacent road. Sidewalks connect the street to the park, allowing for safe passage inside. You and Fido will first be able to explore the park through a series of different trails that wind throughout which can be used for a lovely, on leash stroll.
The main feature of the park is the extensive playground that sits in the middle. Surrounding it is green grass on both sides, with a concrete sitting area featuring four benches in the front of it, with trash bins and water fountains. Bringing a bowl for your pup's convenience will be appreciated, as will clean up bags. Surrounding the playground are trees, providing shaded spaces over the swing sets, sitting area, and back of the park that has an open grassy field. Fido can play in the open grass and walk on the paths, but is not allows to play on the playground.
Shade, lots of sun, and sounds of the great lake are the main features of this park and will make your's and Fido's experience in Harsh Park even better than most parks, despite the limited space to play and walk in.
