Today is the day to take a few extra minutes for yourself and your pup to enjoy a bit of outdoor time and fresh air in the city of Chicago, Illinois. You can pack up your pup and head to Hodes Park where a bit of earth under your feet will make all the difference in the world for clearing your mind and energizing your pup!
Located in the South Shore community of the city, Hodes Park offers plenty of adjacent on-street parking for your convenience. Grab your pup’s leash and enjoy some outdoor time without having to leave the metropolitan area.
This ¼-acre spot of green space is all you will need to become refreshed here. Dedicated to the community as early as the 1930’s, Hodes Park has seen a lot of change, but remains firmly planted as a community gathering place where you can let Fido romp on an extended leash and roll around on the lush grass. There is a historic stone path from that time period which still remains intact for you to walk on, and plenty of park benches to sit and watch others scurrying around during their busy day.
There are no restroom facilities or drinking fountains located at this park, so please plan accordingly. Bring your own water for you to share, and remember to tote along some mutt mitts to keep this quant park in pristine condition for you and your fellow community members to enjoy. Your puptastic friend must remain on leash throughout your visit so that everyone can enjoy the space.
Hodes Park is a perfectly placed park which will offer you enough outdoor time to renew and refresh both you and your furry friend in the city of Chicago.
