Your pup will be excited when you pack up them up, grab their leash and head to Lois Klein Park in the city of Chicago, Illinois! Offering a bit of fresh air and sunshine, this park is just what you need for a short break in your day.
You will find the park in the Lakeview Community of the city with adjacent on-street parking. Pick a place to park to easily access the grounds or walk over if you are in the neighborhood!
This small park is provided to the community by the City of Chicago to offer residents and visitors a quiet green space where you can relax and enjoy each other’s company. Fido will appreciate the paved path which runs through the park, or you can take them on an extended walk around the perimeter of the park on the surrounding sidewalks. There is a lot of green grass for your pup to roll in or romp on, as well as shade trees to relax under. Park benches dot the landscape for you to rest where you can also give them plenty of breaks if they are only young at heart!
Take a few minutes to enjoy the beautiful playground the neighboring children enjoy. Swings and slides offer them plenty to do, and a shade umbrella over additional seating provides you another place to relax while watching the fun. There are no restrooms here, but there is a seasonally operational drinking fountain so there is no reason to pack water with you during the summer months, just a bowl for your pup. Bringing bags and cleaning up after your pawtastic pup is essential to keeping this park pup-friendly. Make sure to keep your dog on leash throughout your visit as well.
Lois Klein Park is a perfect addition to your busy day with your furever friend.
