Parking is provided off the streets that line the edges of the park on all sides, and are connected to the rest of the park by concrete trails that loop throughout. Once on the trails, you'll find a double loop of paths that surround the perimeter of the park, with shaded sitting areas and picnic tables attached. The western loop surrounds a few park features, such as a wood-chipped playground for children, and a basketball court with a grassy field surrounding both areas. Restrooms are in the southwest corner of the park, along with water fountains and more benches.
After completing the first loop, the second loop follows around the eastern half of the park, encompassing a grassy area around a baseball diamond which provides lots of space for players, and for you and your pup to play and run around in between games. The rest of the loop is surrounded by tall trees that cover picnic tables, trash bins, and water fountains around the baseball field. There are plenty of places to sit, and even more open areas and grassy spots under trees to play around and get some exercise.
The open park is pretty popular among kids and other dog walkers thanks to its open spaces and nearly 1 mile of trails that loop through the park. No matter the activity you choose to do, you'll be sure to enjoy your time in Levin Park.
