If you pick up your pup’s leash, I bet they will beat you to the door! That is a clear indication that they are ready and willing to go on an adventure outdoors with their best human friend. So, why not take them to Loudoun Park in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for some fresh air and fun?
You will find this park in the Germantown neighborhood of the city with easy access by parking on the adjacent side streets which run alongside the park. Take a minute to clip on your furry friend’s leash and you are ready to head out!
Loudoun Park is a former property owned by the Loudoun Family and their original estate still stands on the grounds of the park. There are 7 acres to explore here with numerous paths and open, grassy spaces to enjoy. Take your puptastic dog on a walk on the provided paths throughout the park and let your pup get in a bit of exercise. There is a central plaza in the park which is paved as well. It is a great place to hang out and delight in the cityscape that lines your views. Fido would love for you to pack a picnic to share here!
The park is lighted, so heading over just after dark for the many pup-friendly events that are offered in the park is a great way to extend you time here with your pawtastic pup. Take in a movie or just hang out – either one will make your furry friend very happy. Be sure to bring clean up bags and pick up after them, and keep your pup always on leash to keep this park always puptastic for everyone to enjoy.
Fido is ready to head to Loudoun Park! Hurry up and get going!
