Though the play areas are designated off-leash zones, owners are asked to retain their dogs on a lead when traveling to and from the enclosures. Additionally, it is also requested that owners carry a leash with them at all times in case of an emergency situation.
Access to Marin Humane Society Dog Park is free of charge; however, donations are gratefully accepted with all monies earmarked for park maintenance and improvements. Hours of operation for this dedicated dog play facility are split between public use and private use. From sunrise to 8:30 AM, the dog play areas are available for public use. They are also open to the public from 4:30 PM to sunset. All other hours are reserved for private clients and the Marin County Humane Society.
Private dog park rentals are available in 30-minute increments by reservation and only during the hours of 12 PM-2PM each day. It is important to note that the park is closed Friday mornings for general maintenance. The Marin County Humane Society requires that all dogs making use of the park space be current on vaccinations and city licensing. In addition to this, the dog play areas are only open to dogs who are spayed or neutered.
Bathrooms are available for public use in the Humane Society building. Poop bags are also provided on the premises, and owners are required to pick up and dispose of all canine waste. For a visit to an unforgettable park, bring Fido for a run at Marin Humane Society Dog Park!
