This lovely park is located in the suburb of Montrose, near the Kennedy Expressway. t will seem like you stepped back in time when you see the picturesque setting of the park. You can leave your car on the side street parking adjacent to the land, or walk over if you are in the neighborhood.
Grab your pup’s leash and head off for a stroll along the paved paths which crisscross the beautiful landscaped grounds. You can make your way around this 2 ½ acre park on these level pathways which are suited for any pup-ability, and are especially easy on the paws of elderly pups. Take a moment to sit on the park benches to enjoy watching people pass by in this residential neighborhood. Shade trees are plentiful and offer a welcome relief from the hot, summer sun of the city.
The park’s other amenities include a playground for the community’s youth, a cooling-off station with fine mist and water in the summer, and sports courts and fields. A small fieldhouse is the perfect place for the neighborhood human residents to gather to stay connected. Restrooms can be found inside, but the outdoor drinking fountains operate during warm weather. Otherwise, please bring your pup some water to drink. Be sure to bring bags as well and clean up after your furry bestie. This park does require that all pups stay leashed throughout.
