With a large asphalt parking lot at the north side of the park, you and Fido will have a secure place to get out and enter the park, where a long trail connects the lot with the rest of the park and its amenities. The trail connects the north and south sides of the park, and to a perimeter path that loops around the area. Along the path lies three soccer fields, four baseball fields with nighttime lights, basketball courts, and an extensive playground next to restrooms.
You and Fido can watch plenty of kids participate in seasonal sports and after-school activities, although during school hours the park is typically empty. Besides the recreational fields that are open to pups to play in between games, there's grassy space to roam in, shaded picnic areas, benches, and water fountains around the playground. There are plenty of things to do with your pup, from playing and running around in the grassy areas, to taking a nice stroll along the pathways of the park, so long as you remember to bring clean-up bags for your pooch and keep them leashed while playing.
No matter which activity you decide to do, this scenic and shady park will no doubt give you and Fido a calm and fun place to get out and enjoy the day.
