There is an amazing park in the city of Chicago, Illinois, which you need to check out with your furever friend. Pietrowski Park is one of the city’s top pup-friendly locations where you can spend an hour or a day enjoying the great outdoors.
You will find the park situated in the South Lawn community of the city, and parking is located on the surrounding roads. Pack up your pup and their leash and get exploring this puptastic park.
There are almost 23 acres of ground to cover surrounded by beautiful wrought iron fencing. Fido will love walking the numerous paths which meander through the entire property. They are all paved and level, so any age pup will traverse these just fine and will be comfortable for them to navigate. Lots of open spaces are waiting for your pup to go ‘off-road’ and do some rolling in the luscious grass, and there is plenty of ground to stretch their legs. And for a bit of a rest, make sure to make use of the numerous park benches scattered throughout the park, or take a blanket to relax under the many mature shade trees Pietrowski Park is covered with.
The park offers a way for the community to connect with its year-round programming in the fieldhouse, where there is a pool, fitness center and gym. The park is dotted with sports fields, tennis and basketball courts, a kiddie playground and a skate park. It has just about everything you will need, including indoor restrooms and seasonal, outdoor drinking fountains. Please keep your furry friend on leash while you are visiting the park, and bring bags to clean up after them.
Fido will be asking to return daily to Pietrowki Park to pick up where they left off on their city park adventure!
