This green and shaded park is a favourite among residents, and can still be pretty vacant during the early morning and school hours. The park is situated around cosy residential homes, with a single street along the southern part of the park where visitors can find off-street parking. Trees and green space surround the park, with a fence encompassing the space as well. Entering the park, the centre feature of the park is the playground, located on a soft-surface terrain with a border.
On the outside of the playground is a sitting area with benches and picnic tables on a concrete surface, connected by a small trail that surrounds the front and sides of the playground. The trail also connects to other features, like a swing set, a sandbox, trash bins, a water fountain, and additional benches on the side of the park. Along the backside of the park is where there is the greenest space, with a grassy lot available to run in for pups and humans. Bring clean up bags to keep the park looking its best, and a bowl for water may be appreciated by your pup!
Although small, this cosy park will provide all the space you need, with options to walk, run around, and play wih your pup. No matter what you decide to do, the dog-friendliness and openness of Summerdale Park invites you and you pup in any season!
