Introduction

A Lesser Antilles island in the southern Caribbean Sea and the Dutch Caribbean region, Curacao is about 65 kilometers north of the coast of Venezuela. Its formal name is the “Country of Curacao” and the country includes the main island of Curacao as well as the uninhabited island called Klein Curacao (meaning “little Curacao”). The island’s population is over 160,000. Curacao was previously known as the “Island Territory of Curacao”, as one of five island territories that made up the Netherlands Antilles, which was dissolved in October, 2010. The beautiful island of Curacao has a lot to offer, and is a great place to look for a unique name for your new pup.
