About the caregiver

Hi! My name is Anya and I’m based in ATL, GA. I grew up with 4 dogs and have boarded, cared for, and trained over a thousand more pets in the past, both in the Atlanta area and also all over Los Angeles, and both with Wag!, and also with many other reputable companies, for over 8 years. I have experience with cats, but as I am a bit allergic to cats, I work mainly with dogs of all different breeds, ages and sizes. I specialize caring for small dogs, puppies, and rescue pups, and training in puppy and adult canine communication skills (I taught several puppy kindergarten and basic obedience group classes in LA!). I am very passionate about animal care and I give my animal clients just as much love, respect, and kindness as I would give a member of my family. <3

Caregivers Home

My home is small, but cozy! It has central heat and AC. Your pet(s) and I would mostly be hanging out in the living room, probably watching tv or listening to music. The living room will be puppy proofed before any canine guest comes over, but if your pup has a habit of chewing undesirable objects, please provide me a crate, and this will stay in the living room while I leave the house (but I won’t be gone for more than 4 hour periods, and usually only gone for an hour or two at most, for my midday dog walks). Your pup may sleep in my bed, unless they need full time supervision for any reason; in that case, they will sleep in their crate in either my room or the living room. They will eat in the kitchen, which has tile, while the rest of the house has hardwood with a nice soft rug in the middle of the living room. Kitchen counters are very tall, but I still puppy proof them to prevent any counter surfing, and any pantry items on lower shelves are canned goods only or in a tightly sealed box. Your animal’s safety is priority in my house! We have a nice big backyard and front yard for lots of good sniffs and potty breaks, and a beautiful and friendly neighborhood to take walks in. I will always make sure the water bowl is full and fresh, and depending on the animal, I may have water bowls in both the kitchen and living room.
