Hello! My name is Benjamin and I’m an animal lover from way back. Growing up, my family had a pack of Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties). From the time I was born until I moved out for college, I never lived with less than three 3 dogs. (Usually there were more.) After college, I worked part-time at a doggie daycare. The large doggos were my absolute favorite! The ONLY reason I left that job was to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail. (That’s 6 months of walkies!) By the time I got back and settled, the owners had sold the business. Nowadays, my husband and I cohabitate with a rabbit (rescued from a rabbit farm), three cats (I rescued them from a dumpster when they were kittens), two sugar gliders, two mice (rescued feeder mice), a bearded dragon, a snake, and several parakeets. So I’m well-versed in caring for animals of all kinds! My dream is to own a farm that can serve as an animal rescue for injured wildlife and abused/abandoned animals (with a theatre– for performances– in the barn). But that’s in the future. For the time being, I’m looking forward to hanging out with some cool new furry friends. I’d like to develop on-going relationships with clients in order to really develop a rapport with their pets.
