About the caregiver

I currently work as a General Manager at a dog daycare, boarding, grooming and training facility in Wixom, MI. My dream, is to one day, own and operate my very own full-service facility. My background in dogs is very diverse. Prior to my current job, I spent one year in NYC as an explosive detection k9 handler for Google. After that, I spent three and a half years in Michigan working for a company that bred, raised, and trained explosive detection dogs. During my time there, I managed their prison puppy program, was a trainer, explosive detection k9 handler, breeding host home and finally, I managed their breeding program. My extra curricular activities have also included raising a puppy for Leader Dogs for the Blind and 2 puppies for Paws with a Cause and all are successfully working. I am an expert in dog behavior and know how to handle all types of dog breeds as well as dog equipment. I pride myself on being punctual, reliable, and your pup’s safety is my main concern. I follow all instructions left by owners very closely because I know what it’s like to worry about your dog while you’re away. I love to take photos of pets as well, so you’ll always be updated on how your dog is doing while they’re with me! In my spare time, I continue to volunteer at animal shelters, train dogs, and spend time with my two German Shepherds who are also retired explosive detection canines. I truly have a passion for helping people and I sincerely look forward to meeting you and your dog!
