I have a one bedroom apartment that is a dog heaven. The place is full of blankets, dog beds, dog pillows, and dog ramps. My babies run the joint. I do have a cat, but I can keep him in the bedroom if that is a problem. I also have a dog baby gate in my front door for fresh air, but that can be closed if your kid is a jumper. There are front windows to stare out while they think about their mama or daddy :) I also have two small dogs to keep them company.
