My first love affair was with my childhood Golden Retriever, Buffy. Unfortunately she passed away when I was 10 years old, at which point I made a point of being around dogs as often as possible! I have volunteered at my local animal shelter, worked at a dog grooming service and dog sat for many dogs over the years. There is nothing that makes me happier than spending time with pups!
