Introduction

This unique breed has the distinction of being one of the cutest breeds in the world. They never grow too big and look like little balls of half-Pomeranian fluff. From their adorable little paws (a-paw-able?) to the tips of their pointed noses, we love everything about the Schip-a-Pom breed. You could say that we schip the Pomeranian and Shipperke mix. They are loving, friendly dogs who look at the world with a wide-eyed wonder that makes them look so much cuter. Why not show them all the best things that the world has to offer? Here are a few fun activities that your Schip-a-Pom will adore.

Peanut Butter
Activity description
A dog owner needs dog treats like a fish needs water. Have you ever tried training your dog without treats? Well, we suppose that you could. But why would you want to? We just love how their furry faces light up when you present them with a delectable, or delicktable, treat. Dog treats can bring the two of you even closer if you decide to make your own treats. You are more aware of your dog's preferences than the brand at the local supermarket. There are all sorts of treats that you can make, but this recipe is a sure-fire success. In fact, if you leave out the dry dog food, it could double as a treat for humans. What better way to prove your love than through yummy treats?
Step
1
A spoonful of peanut butter...
Take a heaping spoonful of dog-safe peanut butter and put it into a mixing bowl. It is up to you to decide between crunchy and smooth. Next up is an equal spoonful of yogurt. Once again, it is your choice between low fat and double cream. Although, the point of a treat is to choose double cream. Just saying...
Step
2
A dash of dry dog food
Grind up a handful of your dog's favorite dry dog pellets. This time, use their choice of flavor. This should add some meat to an otherwise sweet treat. If you want these treats to be consumed by humans, don't do this. Unless you're planning an epic prank, in which case, send us pictures!
Step
3
Time in the ice box
When you have mixed the mixture to a smooth consistency, use a piping bag to make some bite-sized portions. Freeze the bites for about 30 minutes, then they should be ready for Schip-a-Pom consumption.

Doggy Outfits
Activity description
Let's be honest, most of us see our dogs as our little furry children. One of the most fun activities you can do with children and dogs is dress them up and take pictures. One day, when you're out of ideas or really want some fun pictures with your Schip-A-Pom, you can give them a quick makeover. It does not need to be too elaborate, or it can be as extra as your heart or social media desires! Why not start the day with a trip to the pet store to find some rebarkable pet outfits? You can even get our dog's opinion, and test out which outfits look the best.
Step
1
A series of pet outfits
Dog outfits are the best. We're not sure where the designers get their ideas, but there are styles out there that will suit every dog and dog owner. Find some that reflect your dog's personal sense of style, and put them on.
Step
2
Chalk time
Don't worry, this next step is not harmful to dogs. Schip-A-Poms are known for their glorious fur. Why not jazz up their look by adding some interesting highlights. The chalk is not permanent, and after one bath it should wash out, if it lasts that long. This step will really round out their new look, but if you're uncomfortable then you can just skip it.
Step
3
Lights, camera, pose!
Your dog looks more (fashion) fierce than you've ever seen them! It is time to capture the memories and share them with our family, friends and us, of course. We would love to see pictures of your doggy makeover. Don't be afraid to share them and give others some creative ideas.

Bubble Bath

Bath
Towel
Pet Shampoo
Activity description
When you've had a tough day, what is one thing that you enjoy doing? A long bubble bath is usually in order. It is the epitome of relaxation and we all need a good soak from time to time. This is why we think that our dogs deserve a good time too. Keep in mind that things will get a little messy, but that's okay, they deserve it. Keep a few extra towels and a mop on hand to keep things from getting too out of hand. After they're all dry and snuggled up, you can take the oppurtunity to relax. It will be fun!
Step
1
Soapy bubbles
Do not be afraid to use the shampoo. This is where you will get most of the bubbles. Most pet owners are wary about using normal bubble bath mixtures for their dogs, so feel free to play it safe and only use pet-friendly shampoo. Make sure the water is at a comfortable temperature. You might enjoy scalding hot or freezing cold, but your Schip-A-Pom will prefer a comfortable medium.
Step
2
Play around
The bathroom is going to be a mess afterwards, so have fun with it. If you have to clean up anyway, then why not make the journey memorable? We suggest the use of water-proof dog toys. It will make things all the more exciting.
Step
3
Dry off
Use your biggest and fluffiest towel to dry your squeaky clean dog off. Make sure that you dry them properly, and if you decide to use a hair dryer then be very careful. Use it at its lowest setting and make sure that you don't hold it in one spot for too long.

Social Media Fan Page

There are pets out there with millions of fans. This is because people like looking at pets. We think your dog is adorable enough to deserve their own page. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook... the world is your oyster. Tell your friends, family and random strangers. Follow other pets and update regularly.

Run Around

Sometimes dogs have a near-endless stream of energy. We aren't complaining, but it does get tiring. When you want them to lose some energy and get a work out in, play a game of chase. This is basically like Fetch, but basically, you're the toy. The objective is to catch you and get lots of kisses. What could be better?

Conclusion

Life is tough at the best of times. That is why we need to spend time with our dogs. If you or your Schip-A-Pom are feeling down, then plan a fun day together. You can do all the usual things, and you can add a few new activities to spice things up. Start off with frozen Peanut Butter Bites, give your dog a makeover and round the day off with a relaxing bubble bath. Take them to the park, meet up with friends or just spend the day watching your favorite series. It doesn't matter what you do, it will be memorable.
