Take a leashed walk at Miriam's Park through the wide open green spaces where there’s plenty of room to run and fetch. Your pooch will love a sniff-tastic browse around the trees surrounding the park, and the opportunity to spot a few squirrels playing on the tree trunks in the spring. Water fountains are available in the park, but do bring along a water bowl for your pup. Pack a picnic lunch for you and your pooch after your exercise and spend a little more time in the outdoors before heading home. The park also boasts a playground and soccer fields.36

Enjoy the Elks Memorial Park where you and your leashed pooch can take a dog-tastic hike through the park. At the top of the mountain, you can enjoy awesome views of the Delaware River. From Point Peter, a large panoramic vista presents the Delaware Valley and the Delaware River that separates the states of New York and New Jersey from Pennsylvana. Bring along a picnic lunch and eat at the top under the flag. There are a few benches, and many picnic tables and grills along the way to rest and have an outdoor meal. Do be aware that this park has no restroom facilities.

to Hudson through rural and park areas. Your pup will love a leashed walk on
this old and scenic railroad corridor. The trail surface is asphalt, making for easy walking. Visit the Hope Martin Memorial Park for its beautiful nature area, and just right for a sniff-tastic adventure for Fido. The
