South Corals

Oakland Park’s South Corals community offers plenty of shopping, dining, entertainment, and dog friendly events! Dine with your Dogs is a fundraising event where you and your dog are invited to come dine in an outdoor reception where there will be a “Man’s Best Friend Menu” featured and free gift bags. All donations and funds received at the event goes to the Pet Project for Pets. Another fun, dog-friendly fundraising event in the area is the Canine Assisted Therapy Orientation. This event is held once a month and your pooch will be on their way to becoming a certified canine-assisted therapy dog! If you and your dog are feeling hungry, there are plenty of dog accommodating restaurants, including Café Italia Ristorante, Angelo Elia The Bakery Bar, Fernanda’s Gourmet Market & Café, and Agave Taco Bar to name a few!

Wilton Manors

Wilton Manors is a residential family-friendly community that is surrounded by water features and offers easy access to Oakland Park Boulevard. The Colohatchee Bark Park is an off-leash dog park that offers two separate areas for large and small dogs that is safe and fenced in. They do require you to register in order to use the dog park, and it is open every day except Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Wilton Manors also offers plenty of options for you and your dog to grab a bite to eat together including Rumors Bar and Grill, Shawn & Nick’s Courtyard Café, and Georgie’s Alibi Monkey Bar.

Central Business District

The Central Business District is located directly along Interstate 95, and East Oakland Boulevard and offers plenty of shopping, and dining options for you and Fido! The Oakland Bark Park is right next to the Royal Palm Park and offers a safe space for your furry friend to run, play and socialize! The park features two separate sides for small and large dogs, agility courses, and shaded areas.
