The park is open from dusk until dawn, so you and your pup have plenty of time to run around. Note that this off leash dog park does require a membership before entering. If you and Fido get a bit hungry while at the dog park, stop into Salerno's for a bite to eat. Salerno's offers Southern-Italian favorites like pizza, baked clams, and chicken fingers. They have a dog friendly patio that welcomes Fido to join you for a meal.

North Riverside

The Miller Meadow Off-Leash Dog Area in nearby Forest Park is a fantastic spot to let Fido roam around off leash, and being only five miles out of Cicero, your dog won't mind the car ride. The park offers 3-acres of grass to run on, plus a 2-mile trail to walk and an outdoor shelter in case you and Fido need a little shade. This dog area does require a membership before being allowed inside. The Big Corner Tavern is a great place to stop in with Fido and get your grub on. This restaurant offers burgers and beer with an outdoor patio that welcomes Fido to join you for a meal.

Morton College

While wandering around Cicero and enjoying your day with Fido, make sure to visit Drexel Park and get a good walk in with your furry pal by your side. The park can be busy at times since it is used by the Concertina Club and the Polish National Alliance. When visiting, make sure to take advantage of the walking path and grass- Fido will love rolling and playing fetch in it. They also offer a playground, and when the weather is too hot, there is a splash pad to run in. Make sure to bring clean-up bags and water while you are visiting this dogtastic park.

W 31st St / S Pulaski Rd

Piotrowski Park is a beautiful 22-acre park that is perfect to take Fido to for some fresh air and a great day out. The park offers sports fields, which means tons of grass for your furry friend to run on, plus tennis courts and a skate park. Make sure to take advantage of the walking path that goes through the park so you and Fido can get a little exploring in while you are visiting. At times, the park can be a bit busy since it has a domed pool that the community loves to visit year round.

S Austin Blvd / W Cermak Rd

Clyde Park in Cicero offers a great space for Fido to get a nice walk in and spend some quality time with you. The park offers a great walking section for you and your pet, as well as grass to run on, a small pool, and a playground. The park is mainly used to teach classes, like ballet and boxing, so at times it can be a little busy and overwhelming for Fido. Locals love how clean the park is whenever they visit, so make sure to do your part and bring clean-up bags with you and water to keep your pup hydrated when walking around.
