Doggy waste bags are provided throughout the park, and there are plenty of benches and shady spots for you and your pup to relax in. There is also a picnic shelter, so feel free to bring some treats for both you and your pup pal, and you’re bound to have a good time.

Oak Park

If you happen to be a resident of Oak Park, a hidden gem in the midst of Illinois, you and your canine companion should definitely make the trip to Maple Park Dog Park. With around 12,000 square feet for your dog to have some off-leash fun, it’s sure worth the visit. Crushed granite makes up the ground in the park, and there are canine water fountains available throughout. Be sure to bring some toys for your precious puppy, as well as some doggy waste bags to keep this pristine park impeccably clean. Other than that, all you’ll need is your doggy and yourself!

Whalon Lake

A trip to Whalon Lake is a must for any doggy to-do list. Located in Naperville, a short distance from Lemont, you’ll find the Whalon Lake Dog Park.
