Eagleville Road

Pack up the car and head north to the North Baltimore village to find the woofderful Eagleville Rd neighborhood, where the trailhead for the Slippery Elm Tree Trail begins. The Slippery Elm Tree Trail is a local favorite, featuring around 13 miles of scenic dirt and grooved walking paths which were once used as a railroad corridor between Bowling Green and surrounding communities. Pups will love exploring the countryside of northwest Ohio and getting to see large fields full of soy, wheat and corn crops! The Slipper Elm Tree requires all pets to be leashed and cleaned up after to maintain the cleanliness of the trail.

Poe Road

While traveling to or from North Baltimore, make sure to stop in at the convenient Petro gas station to stock up on doggie treats, eat a full meal, and refuel the tank! Your pup is invited to come take a much-needed break to stretch and go potty out on Petro's grassy lawn especially made for our four-legged friends. Petro's is quick one-stop-shop for all your needs, human or dog-related. Petro's is open 24/7 with a full-service restaurant, so if you have some time to spare, come in and stay a while! The Poe Road neighborhood is located just off the exit to North Baltimore which makes traveling with Fido a breeze!

Fostoria Lytle/Main

Wag just east of Van Buren to find the quaint town of Fostoria, Ohio. Here in the Fostoria Lytle/Main neighborhood, you will find the pawtastic doggoe-friendly Foundation Park where you can take Fido for a walk after a long day or even let him run free off-leash at Fostoria's only Dog Park. It has two separate areas for large and small pups. Bring your own water and waste disposal bags just in case there are none at the park. Multiple sports fields, picnic shelters, restrooms, and a playground and outdoor amphitheatre are located in Foundation Park beyond the dog park.

Findlay Trenton/Bigelow

Findlay Trenton/Bigelow is a pawpular neighborhood in Findlay which is located just south of Van Buren. In addition to lots of lively bars, shops, and entertainment for university students, there are pup-friendly restaurants and accomomdation options. The Flag City Pizza restaurant is a neighborhood favorite; known for its drool-worthy apps and cheesy slices of pupperoni pizza. Flag City Pizza is open late to curve all those late-night pup cravings! End the night by jumping onto your freshly-made cozy bed at one of the pet-friendly hotels in the neighborhood. The Quality Inn, Country Inn, and Holiday Inn Express Findlay all offer spacious, clean rooms for a modest extra fee per pup, per stay. Give your pooch a smooch before tucking him in to sleep. Riverbend Recreation Area

Does your Fido love leash-free zones, making new friends, and rolling in the grass? Then treat him to the K-9 Field of Dreams located in the Riverbend Recreation Area. Your pup will find furrific friendly canines to romp with while you chat and take paws on the benches under the shady shelter. This near 1 acre dog park offers your pooch plenty of room to run wild, but make sure to have doggie waste bags handy for easy cleanup. The park has well-maintained grounds, so taking a leisurely walk with Fido is convenient in case the park is empty when you go. Your doggoe will have a blast at the K-9 Field of Dreams!
