Description

The scenic beauty in this neck of the woods is hypnotic, with pine trees old enough to tell a few camper stories and a crystal lake as the star attraction.

Shady Lake RV Park is an east Texas jewel and magical holiday destination where RVers can drive in and rest awhile, enjoying glorious lakeside views and all the comforts of home. The park offers full hook-ups to electricity (30 or 50 amp) water and sewer with access to the internet and cable TV. Each site features a picnic table and fire pit for camper cooking.

RV pads are a combination of grass and gravel with a good selection of level, back-in, and pull-through sites. The kids will love feeding the ducks in the catch-and-release pond while nature lovers will enjoy the many species of birds that frequent this area.

There are around 85 sites with areas you can pitch a tent and sleep under a Texas night sky. Shady Lake RV Park is a diamond in the desert with a peaceful ambiance that gives campers time to reflect on a park bench by the lake or get busy fishing for bass and catfish. A swimming pool offers relief from the high summer temperatures while an awesome playground keeps kids entertained. Paddle boats are on the horizon with the campground owners looking to give guests a memorable stay. Long-termers appreciate this leisurely landscape, so it’s wise to book ahead. A 10-minute drive sees you discovering the city of Sulpher Springs and Coleman Park, featuring a dog-friendly walking trail.

The family dog is very welcome at this lakefront retreat with two areas where you can walk your pooch on-leash. Plans are underfoot to create a dog run where happy hounds can play off-leash. There is a limit of two pets per site and some breed restrictions. Bring plenty of dog waste bags with you to clean up your pal's waste.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
