Prepare for unexpected vet bills
There are many dog breeds that live in the Philippines, and they all have one thing in common: they are loving and wonderful house pets! Common dogs that call the Philippines their home are the Beagle, Pug, Poodle, Golden Retriever, Shih Tsu, Chihuahua, Dalmatian, Labrador Retriever, Doberman, and the German Shepherd. Sounds a lot like dogs found in the US, right? If you own or are thinking about acquiring one of these dog breeds, there are activities you can do with them to make them content, either indoors or out. All of these dogs are great with families and make excellent companions. Of course, some are large, like the Doberman and the Retrievers, and do require plenty of space, but the others are smaller breeds and are adaptable to any area.
In the Philippines, the first community that is a great place for pet care is located in Eastwood City. It is called Bark Central, and it is an off-the-leash dog park that offers many amenities. Services offered are grooming, play time, a boutique, agility fun, a ball pit, training, and even a room for birthday parties! The environment is controlled, and is the perfect place for anyone to take their dog to avoid the vehicles, heat, and rain.
Parkmall is another outing and shopping experience for you and your dog. Also, they host a large dog festival each year, for dog lovers and their companions to take a look at all of the different breeds and breed standards!
There is a very nice dog cafe in Cainta, called Barkin' Blends. You can take your dog and enjoy the aroma and tastes of the coffee and food, and also give your dog socialization time. They also have a store with accessories for dogs, and several (a lot!) of resident dogs!
