Duffer’s Ridge is located on the Spring Creek ravine and surrounded by rural properties, providing plenty of green space. You can walk your dog to the creek greenspace or to the golf course and campground to the west for a more manicured green area. Other rural subdivisions adjacent to Duffer’s Ridge offer green spaces for walking your dog, but be careful of traffic along major arteries when accessing nearby green spaces on foot. Alternatively, you can always drive to natural areas and initiate your walks in relatively quiet subdivisions.
If you want to venture out of the neighborhood, the Ozark Corn Maze is located directly to the south and the Cave Springs Natural Area is located a short distance to the north. The Cave Springs Natural Area features a lake, rare flora and fauna and interpretive trails. Check local attractions regulations on the accessibility and rules for dogs before visiting with your canine companion.
