There will be some foot and street traffic during the normal rush hour in Crown Valley, but it will never be severe. There are several parks and greenways in and around Crown Valley. Brittany Way, one of the main roads in the neighborhood, runs right up to the border of Wild Oaks Park which is a great spot for dog walking in the area. It is one of the most natural parks in El Dorado Hills because of its unimproved walking trails and protected nature area, though this can also make it a bit precarious to navigate for inexperienced walkers. There is a large amount of wildlife to be seen in the park and it is also famous for its native pine and oak trees.

William C. McCabe Park is located right next to Wild Oaks Park. It is smaller in size but it has a playground, natural turf area, barbecue area, and picnic tables, so it will be a better option to walk to if you are looking for a more structured, formal park.
