Paws-n-Clause
That time of year is quickly approaching - sleigh bells are ringing, fires are crackling, and the trees are being set up. But what's missing? Your Paws-N-Clause family photo, of course! Take your pooch down to the Woodbury Center Strip mall for pup-tastic photos of your holiday hound with the big guy. Hosted by Siouxland Humane Society, this event is drawing all the pawesome pups and their pawrents to come make some life-long memories and beautiful, winter-themed photos (that's right, we're talking backdrops, people).Don't miss out on the perfect chance to dress your pooch up in a ridiculously cute holiday costume to pose for your ideal Christmas card!

Pets on the Peninsula
The puppy pawty has begun! The Pets on Peninsula events are the perfect activity for you and your pooch to party at. If you like to bond with your pup over beers, meet other local pooches, and eat delicious food, then the Siouxland Humane Society's regular Pets on the Peninsula event is the place for you! These regularly scheduled Thursday night events are hot spots for all the local pooches. You and your pup can drink a beer, enjoy live music, eat tasty food, and bond with other pups at one of Sioux City's dog-friendly restaurants. Not only is it a great activity, but you'll also have the chance to donate money to the shelter while you and your pooch are pawrtying the night away!24
Pets on Parade
Lace up your running shoes and get those paws stretched out; it's time for the Pets on Parade annual 5k run and 1-mile walk! This pup-tradition, hosted by Siouxland Humane Society, is a fun-filled day featuring a fundraising walk-run-or-trot for you and your canine! Run on your own with your pooch, or sponsor a team - either way, you'll be raising money for the shelter's animals and having a great time doing it! Once you and your tuckered-out pup are done with your run, you can relax and enjoy pet contests, silent auctions, doggy vendors, unique demonstrations, and pet-related booths! Don't miss out on this doggone great time!12
WoofStock
You didn't read that wrong, we said Woofstock! Think about a party just as exciting and fun as Woodstock, but throw in a bunch of adorable (and adoptable) pooches, and you've got the right mental image (okay, maybe not quite as wild as Woodstock). Hosted by Siouxland Humane Society, you and your pup can join hundreds of other doggos and their pawrents for a fun night with a DJ, 20 onsite vendors (lots of them pet-specific), drinks, food, and a silent auction! There's a crazy tie-dye outfit contest, door prizes every 15 minutes, and more fun surprises at this event! You can, of course, bring your pooch, but there's one catch - you have to be 21+ to get into this $5 event. Don't miss out on the chance to party with your tie-dye pup and help raise funds for the shelter animals!
