I’m Katie! I’m twenty three years old, and I’ve been working in the pet care industry for five years, training, walking, dog sitting and I’m also currently a supervisor at a local doggy daycare. Most of my time is spent working with or around animals! Since a young age, my family had dogs in and out for training. Growing up around so many dogs, Ive learned knowledge of good/bad dog handling; Specifically while working with dogs and owners. At 16 years old I learned how to train/work w all breeds of dogs. My mentor trained dogs for the military acquiring many skills from him that lead to my understanding/success with dogs. I am a dog trainer and a full-time firefighter with Los Angles Fire Department. I started training dogs because I want to teach owners how to make the most out of their relationship with their dog. I specialize in dogs with anxiety and high-energy breeds. I started when I met a professional dog trainer who trained police, arson, and service dogs. I quickly became fascinated by dog training. I completed a 2 year apprenticeship with him and immediately fell in love with dog training.
