I know it may seem as though I am little overqualified to be a dog walker...however I have decided to take a sabbatical from work over the summer, but just cannot resist being around your fur babies 24/7! I’ve had dogs throughout my life and love to have canine companions out on my daily walks. I currently have 2 awesome dogs of my own at home and I volunteer at the Milo Foundation to walk dogs awaiting their forever homes. Hi my name is Marlys. I have my associates degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management from Moorpark College. I have several years of experience training animals. I currently work at Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael as an Apprentice Guide Dog Mobility Instructor. Even though I spend my full time job working with dogs all day - I still enjoy spending my free time walking, pet sitting, and training pet dogs. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your pups!

I wanted a career that had todo with dogs. My first job was a groomers assistant. After four and a half years it just wasn't the passion I was looking for. The passion was training my dog, to do all kinds of tricks. For 10 years my Doberman pincher was an incredible companion my best friend she past last year. I have two small dogs now and two cats. I'm now a certified dog trainer graduated by the ABC animal behavior college and petco positive dog training certified.
