Hello…..My name is Alex and I am a lifelong pet owner and lover. I have owned all kinds of animals and have worked in the animal care area as well as animal rescue facilities caring for loss, abandoned and ill treated as well as medically ill or injured animals. I have boarded, sat and walked dogs for many years.My dog experiences range from general routine exercise walks to hiking various terrains both with my Brittany to customer and friend’s dogs. Holding multiple certifications as fitness instructor dealing with youngsters to seniors I approach the interaction with all my dog walks with the same concern and dedication. I am sensitive to the needs of both young (puppies) to seniors (older dogs) and adapt accordingly.My approach to dog walking is taking a comprehensive view of all that would transpire when having your dog under my care. The walk is not about me but all about your dog and your expectations.To that end I am certified through the American Red Cross to handle most critical dog emergency situations including but not limited to: breathing and cardiac emergencies, wounds, bleeding and seizures.During my walks with your fur baby they will be treated as if my own. I will be prepared for most situations from emergency first aid, stray dog approaches as well as what is needed to ensure that your pet experiences the safest and happiest time while out and about assuring you the peace of mind that you would expect from a professional handler.I always provide detailed reporting on each walk which includes pre-assessment/post-assessment observations with respect to everything from road/pavement temperature, gate changes, body posture changes, behavior changes to stool condition/changes/content. At the end of the walk your dog will receive a thorough brush down looking for anything unusual and all this will be provided in a report each and every time.
