Living out here just off of Beville Road puts you within a short drive of the main part of town where you will find great restaurants and plenty of pet supply stores. As for dog-friendly parks, you're going to have to drive for one because the closest one is at the Halifax Humane Society.
Summers here are in the 90s with endless weeks of blue skies and only the occasional thunderstorm to deal with. Winters are exceptionally mild with temperatures typically in the 50s in December and the upper 40s in January. There are ponds to fish in, picnic areas for the family to enjoy sitting in the shade in, and a wealth of local animals and birds who call the WMA home.
