Top dog walkers in Fairgreen Square
Wag! Walkers know Fairgreen Square
Fairgreen Square is a small townhome community located in the Hidden Lakes Golf Course community. To the south is the New Smyrna Beach Golf Course, a public course that, unfortunately, bars animals. Being surrounded by two golf courses encompassing vast acreage of green space offers plenty of peace and quiet in a busy life, even if you can't utilize the space for walking your pooch.
Living here puts you near to a large selection of excellent restaurants. In the same space of time, you can drive to stores selling just about anything you could possibly need including pet supply stores. If you are interested in taking your four-legged friend over to the beach for walks, it's only a ten-minute drive over the South Causeway to where you can park on the sand and take your stroll on a cool summer morning before things get a little too packed with tourists.
What is the terrain like in Fairgreen Square?
One of the beautiful things about living in Fairgreen Square is that you won't be subjected to much in the way of traffic. The only times of the day when you are likely to see much in the way of vehicles passing through is during morning and evening rush hours. But as long as you plan your walks for any other times, you shouldn't have much to deal with beyond the odd lost golfer in his cart.
The same applies to pedestrian traffic in that you aren't likely to see much beyond golfers crossing between sections of the course. You should, however, keep an eye out for the occasional errant golf ball as they can be quite painful upon impact. For more distance, you can always take your pooch into the neighboring communities where the only obstacle to how far you walk is how much ambition and stamina you have.
How many greenways are there in Fairgreen Square?
You are surrounded by green spaces in the form of two golf courses, but again, due to rules about pets on the course, dogs are not allowed. There are several large green spaces within no more than a twenty-five-minute drive of your home in Fairgreen Square. Some, like the Spruce Creek Preserve and the Doris Leeper Spruce Creek Preserve, offer a variety of terrain for the two of you to hike.
Others, like the beach, offer miles of sand for the two of you to hike along. Plus, you get to take your dog out for a swim in the ocean! Be aware that motorized vehicles are allowed on the sand and, the later you wait into the day, the busier the beach is going to be. Plus, midday brings some extreme temperatures during the warmer seasons and no one wants to go walking in the middle of a summer day in Florida!
