Currently, Deens Orangeland is a swath of forest to the west of the Spruce Creek Airport and its surrounding communities. The woods sit along Taylor Road and will eventually be developed. For those who live in the areas that have already been under construction, the area offers a tranquil rural setting and an oasis to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The only real noise you have to deal with is that which is generated by the airport, but most of the planes flying in and out are smaller private craft and don't make a lot of noise. The one person who did have a 707 parked in his driveway was John Travolta, but he no longer lives here!
Three minutes to the east on Taylor Road is the intersection of I-95 and Dunlawton Avenue. Here, you will find grocery stores, places to buy pet supplies, hardware stores, and a good selection of restaurants to choose from.
