There are two main greenways in the Beverly area. The first and foremost is the Dan Ryan Woods which borders the neighborhood's northern side. The woods is one of the few forest preserves within the city of Chicago. Its picnic area, hills, paved trail, and natural areas make it a popular family destination all year round. The woods' 257 acres offers lots of open space for your dog to run around with the woods providing lots of great sticks for games of throw and fetch. The preserve has three off-leash locations that allow your pup to play unrestrained: Beck Lake, Bremen Grove, and Miller Meadow. 

The second greenway in the Beverly area is Beverly Park. This park has lots of great amenities including baseball fields, a playground, tennis courts, and much more. The park is a firm family favourite and is a great place for you and your pup to catch up with friends and family.
