Beach lovers with pooches, you won't want to miss out on this pawsome spot! Plan a visit to Bayview Beach in Long Beach Township. Nestled in the middle of the idyllic Long Island, and considered one of the area's Green Acres Parks, Bayview Beach welcomes people and their pooches with open paws. 

If you love water sports, this beach is the pawrfect spot for you. From stand up paddleboarding to kayaking, windsurfing, and more, Bayview Beach is the place to be if water sports is your cup of tea. Best of all, Fido is welcome to both swim and sun right alongside you in the bay's deep blue waters or on the warm white sand. 

Bayview Beach is known for its tranquil waters which are quite shallow, so if Fido is still earning his water wings, this is the right spot to plunge in and learn to swim! Just be careful to keep your pooch on a leash to keep the New York Paw Patrol at bay. If you plan to do any swimming, you will need to pick up a Long Beach Badge. Day passes are available for $7. Monthly passes cost $20, but there are pawrific savings if you opt to purchase a yearly pass at a cost of $40. 

Thinking you might like to get a workout on land? Why not take Fido to visit the playground or to chase some balls on the volleyball court? If a picnic was more what you had in mind, there are plentiful seating areas where you and your favorite pals, both canine and human, can enjoy a meal or snack. Don't forget to pack a treat and some bottled water for your best canine buddy, and while you're at it, include some clean up bags too as none are available at this furific beach.
