Canine Beach at Bozeman Pond

The Canine Beach at Bozeman Pond is a designated area for dogs to have the chance to swim in the water and stretch on the beachfront. Three sides of this dog park are fenced. The fourth side is the access to the pond. Visitors to the beach comment that the area is very small. If your dog is inclined to enjoy water play, this would be an ideal place to partake in some retrieval activities. 

The city has posted a number of wise suggestions for owners when taking their pets into off-leash dog park play areas. The community recognizes the many benefits of keeping pets healthy and exercised as well as the positive outcomes for owners of a fur-ever friend. They remind owners to make sure their pet is vaccinated, to maintain voice control of the dog, and to not bring toys that other dogs would want to play with, thereby creating conflict. 

As, always, please clean up after your pet. This beach does not provide poop bags. Plan to bring your own bags and to discard the poop into trash containers. You may also want to bring some water and a bowl to keep your dog hydrated. The park does prohibit dogs from chasing wildlife. 

Bozeman Pond is located in the Bozeman Park, which has many amenities that will enhance your visit to this place. There are picnic tables and a pavilion. The park has basketball courts, a climbing boulder, horseshoe pit, playground, and volleyball courts. You can bring your fishing pole to toss a line in the pond. There are trails available where you and your dog can extend your time with a walk to view the nature in the area. If you and your pet want a little variety, you can stroll over to the dog park that is located here, but it does not include a beachfront.
