Fox Island Pier is located in Fox Island Washington and is located on 5.5 acres. With 635 feet of shoreline, there’s plenty to explore! This is a dog-friendly beach, so bring your pooch along for the adventure, but don’t forget their leash!
The pier is located on a pebbly beach with an abundance of trees close by. There are restrooms available at this beach, and it does have hand railings and ADA access for those that need special accommodations. This is a great location for a walk or fishing. There is even a fish cleaning station for after you get your big catch! There are rules and regulations for fishing, so be sure to read more about that on the beach website before you go. There are paved pathways for strolls with your human friends or furry friends, and there is rain cover just in case it begins to sprinkle.
As for Fido, as mentioned, they are welcome to come to explore with you. However, they must stay leashed at all times. Please also be sure to pick up after your pooch. No one wants to be walking along, enjoying their day just to step in a big, smelly pile of dog poop. Unfortunately, there is no information about whether poop bags are available, so be sure to bring your own and be ready to clean up. It’s also always a good idea to bring treats and plenty of water for your pooch. Staying hydrated is important for you, but also for your dog.
Next time you’re looking for a great place to walk or fish in Washington state, check out Fox Island Pier, and bring Fido along!
