Lucky dogs in Edmonds, Washington have a gem in their backyards! The Off Leash Area located at the south end of Marina Beach is a pawtastic fenced-in pupperdise just waiting for your pup!
Sharing a parking lot with the lovely Marina Beach Park, the Off Leash Area offers a large sandy space for romping and playing with neighborhood pups. There's a small dog area in one corner just for the little canines that are 15 pounds or less. A double gated entry allows safe access to this off leash zone. The area is fenced on three sides, with the ocean side left open for easy water access, so let your pup splash away!
Lots of amenities make this sole Edmonds off leash spot woofderful. Fire hydrants are scattered for doggie play, and there's even an agility course. Water is available for drinking or rinsing off closer to the shoreline. Benches are a great place to relax while your dog plays in the sand. There's also lots of logs and driftwood which also make puptastic places to take in the breathtaking views of Puget Sound. Help keep this off leash beach clean by using the clean-up bags and trash cans right on site, both near the beach and the entrance. Port-a-potties for the humans are located in the parking lot right outside the off leash area.
All dogs that want to enjoy this pawsome off leash beach must be current on vaccinations and have a license tag. Be aware that during low tide, dogs can get around the fences near the shoreline. Keep an eye on your dog, as they are not allowed near the railroad, or in any part of Marina Beach Park.
