Looking for a day of fun in the Staten Island sun? Why not bring Fido and the fam to visit Midland Beach? This extremely pawpular spot was formerly known as Woodland Beach, and is connected to South Beach by the Franklin D. Roosevelt Boardwalk which stretches 2.5 miles along the coast. You will find all kinds of pawsitively awesome things to do at this pawsome seaside retreat.

Your pooch is welcome on the boardwalk of Midland Beach, but must remain leashed at all times. In accordance with New York doggo by-laws, your pupperoni must also have a current rabies vaccination and up to date city dog license.

Though Fido is not permitted to swim at Midland Beach, he won't care because there are too many other fun things for him to do to give it a single thought! Your doggo is welcome on the shores of Midland Beach between October 1st and May 1st, provided that they remain on a lead. Midland Beach is the pawrfect spot to work on sand castles, suntanning, or even just digging in the ground for fun. Fido is sure to have a ball! If you were hoping for a little more physical exercise, why not take your pooch for a walk along the coast? After your walk, you can enjoy a picnic lunch in the sand. Be sure to bring along food, drinking water, and cleanup bags from home.

Midland Beach is well-known for its pawrific sea turtle fountain, a splash pad that is pawpular with kiddies and doggies alike! You will also find handball and shuffleboard at this furrific beach.

One item that makes this woofderful beachside haven stand out is its veterans war memorial statue. This monument pays homage to the men who fought in the following wars: World War I, World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. Midland Beach also has doggone breathtaking views that are definitely picture worthy.

If a day of sand and surf sounds like paradise, stop by Midland Beach today. You'll have a barking great time!
