You can use the beach as a resident or non-resident, but you must purchase and display a parking permit that is bought at the Town Hall in town. This beach allows you to fish, jet ski, motorboat, canoe, kayak, and swim. If you are a resident, you are allowed to use their boat ramp as well. There is plenty to do to keep the whole family busy!
This beach also features a grassy picnic area, where dogs are allowed during the day. There are also grills and a playground located at the beach and grass area as well, so you can cookout while the kids play on the swings and seesaw.
Dogs are not allowed on the beach when the lifeguards are on duty, but this becomes a dog-friendly beach before 11 am and after 5 pm. You can take your dog to the beach to walk and run and they can go into the water as well. Although not specified, we suggest you keep your pooch on their leash when on the beach and in the water. This keeps your dog safe, people around you, and other dogs safe as well. Please remember to clean up after your dog and keep their behavior under control so they other visitors can enjoy the beach in peace.
This is a very small beach, so it may or may not be crowded depending on the day you visit the beach. Around this beach, there is a cute and quaint beach town with some shops and yummy restaurants.
