The beach sits next to a small parking area in the southwest corner of Park Point, across the open space of the Park Point Recreation Area from the main parking lot for Park Point Beach. Here, you'll find a quieter, smaller beach with no amenities, but lots of relaxation for you and your pup. With furbulous grassy areas for your pooch to sniff, and a small beach that looks towards the mainland, you and your doggo can enjoy the sun and sand on this dog-furiendly space. Per city rules, always keep your dog leashed on this beach, and any throughout Park Point peninsula. Be sure to bring water and snacks, along with towels, umbrellas and any other toys you enjoy at the beach.
When you are looking for amenities, it's just a short drive to Park Point Beach where you'll find picnic areas offering barbecues where families can cook up a tasty meal, a playground, soccer fields, and sand volleyball courts for families to enjoy. Thinking a rousing game of frisbee might be in order? Why not make use of one of the soccer fields to toss a ball or frisbee for Fido to chase? Bathrooms are available on the premises for public use, but be sure to bring clean-up bags and always pick up after your pup.
