Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park Beach

Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park Beach has something in it for everybody and fur-buddy. The park offers 38 acres of family friendly play space, and one mile of sandy beach along the Atlantic Ocean. Pooches are only allowed during the off-season, partly in order to protect endangered bird species from being inadvertently trampled on or scared by your curious canine. The off-season is the pawfect time for quiet walks along the beach and catching the sunrise over the ocean with your best pal. 

This park is well known for its many family oriented activities, such as Tony's Place Playground, a large sea-themed playground that welcomes people of all abilities to jump, climb, and explore. While puppers are not allowed in the skatepark, playgrounds, sand dunes, pavilions, decks, and habitats, they are allowed on the beach and in the surrounding park areas. 

During high season, parking is $10 per vehicle, and the entrance fee is $8 per person. Furtunately, when dogs are allowed during the off-season, there are no parking or entrance fees. Although facilities and services like lifeguards and snack bars are limited during the off-season, the beach more than makes up for it with peaceful surroundings. All you'll hear is the waves crashing against the shore. Fishing and boating continue throughout the off-season, and there is also a pond that freezes over in the winter that is used for ice skating. If you live in this neck of the woods, Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park Beach is ideal to add to your route on your morning walk with Fido.

There is a tick warning for the park, so be sure to avoid walking through tall grass and brushy areas, and check yourself and your doggo when you get home. Your pal needs to stay leashed and picked up after at all times, and follow proper petiquette. Be sure to bring clean up bags, and water to share.
