Considered part of the Town of Brookhaven, Shoreham beach is north of Shoreham, east of North Shore Beach, and northeast of Rocky Point. It is about 45 feet above sea level. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed, with the exception of trained service animals (no ESA animals). However, Shoreham Beach is a great fishing hole, so be sure and pack your pool and bait for your next trip to the beach.Â
All visitors must have a parking sticker or pay the daily parking fee. The price of a sticker costs $15 and can be purchased through the Town of Brookhaven.Â
Shoreham Beach is an attractive swim beach because of the calm waters and ample space. All swimmers must stay within the green flags and masks, snorkels, rafts, and blow up toys are not permitted. Jet skis and boats are also not allowed in the designated swim area.Â
Shoreham Beach is one of the larger beaches in the area, with North Shore Beach and Wading River Landing located nearby. If you are looking for a fun afternoon in the sun, sans Fido, Shoreham Beach may be perfect for you! Be sure and check the weather conditions before heading out, as the beach can be closed due to inclement weather and dangerous swim conditions.Â
