Southampton Peconic Beach And Tennis Club

A membership-only club in the Hamptons, the privately-owned Southampton Peconic Beach and Tennis Club provides a family-friendly atmosphere and activities for every member of your group. 

The sandy beach is 300 feet of secure, roped off, and private shoreline, for your safety and convenience. The swimming area within the bay is also roped off and includes a fun raft for jumping into the water. Lifeguards are on duty during opening hours, but the water is generally serene and you don’t often have to worry about swells or large waves if you’re a weak swimmer or if you have children in the water. The privacy is also a perk for families with young children, as you don’t necessarily have to worry about their safety as much as you might at a public beach. 

The beach offers chairs and umbrellas for rent, with a beach boy on site to set up your chairs and umbrellas for you. Seasonal cabanas are also available, if you’d like even more privacy and a space to store your own items in a locked environment. 

The club itself is on the Great Peconic Bay. Activities include sailing, tennis programs, basketball, paddle ball, ping pong, volleyball, and others. Dining is also available, with a snack bar serving light lunches on a daily basis and dinner available to members on weekend evenings, with a full menu and oceanfront dining views. 

If you prefer to not swim in the bay, the club has a heated swimming pool, set at 85 degrees, and, at different times of the day, you’ll find the pool is reserved for kids-only or adults-only (with all-swim times also scheduled).
