Your pup is welcome to join you in all areas of Greenwich Point Park so long as they remain on a leash. From December 1st through March 31st, your doggo is also warmly welcomed at Tod's Point. Fido is invited to enjoy some off-leash play and swim time in the Long Island Sound in a section that has been carefully defined to indicate the area which is below the high water line. In all other areas, please keep your pupperoni on a leash.Â
Tod's Point at Greenwich Point Park is a sand beach which is surrounded by sand dunes. The dunes are hedged by a salt marsh which offers them protection. There are so many wooftastic things to do at Tod's Point at Greenwich Point Park that you'll wish you had a week to try them all! From long, leisurely strolls along the coast to sunbathing, fishing, boating, swimming, birdwatching, and more, this pawrific beach has got it all.Â
Fancy a picnic lunch? You can cop a squat right in the sand or enjoy one of the picnic tables in the park. There are even grills where you can cook up your next woofastic culinary delight. Bring along a lunch from home, some meat to throw on the barbecue, or stop by one of the concession stands to buy a snack or two. Water is available for purchase at the snack shops, or you can tote along a bottle from home. Don't forget to bring along some cleanup sacks as you will need them.Â
