Description
If you're looking for a pawsome spot to take Fido and the whole fam, plan a trip to Wildwood Dog Park and Beach! This pawsitively awesome doggy haven, formerly known as Poplar Avenue Beach, gets two paws up from people and their pooches alike.

If a refreshing dip in the ocean was what you had in mind, you've come to the right place as Wildwood Beach is the pawrfect spot for a swim. Fancy a stroll? You can meander along the white sand shores with your best canine pal by your side, or even take a stroll along the boardwalk which leads from the off-leash dog park to the beach. Best of all, Fido can join you in all areas stretching from the shore to the surf. New Jersey does observe strict leash laws, so you'll want to keep your fave furry friend on his lead at all times so as not to upset the local paw-lice. Some of the pawrific things to do at Wildwood Dog Park and Beach include fishing, swimming, water sports, walking, and picnicking. It is unknown if bathrooms are available on the premises for the paw-blic to use.

Wildwood Dog Park and Beach also offers a wooftastic off-leash dog park if your pooch could benefit from running off some pent-up energy in a place sans lead. You can also pick up some drinking water and cleanup bags that you can take with you to the beach here. The sandy coastline is the ideal place for Fido to dig to his heart's content.

Does a day of fun in the sun sound like just what the dog-tor ordered? Consider a visit to Wildwood Dog Park and Beach. You'll have a doggone great time!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.

My Jack russells loved playing in the sand and swimming in the water. Quite an eclectic bunch hang out at the enclosed fence area, but that would politely describe most dog parks, yes we tend to be a little off. Probably one of the better things you can do in NJ that is still free.
Thanks for your vote!
