There are RV requirements that include Class A or Class C Recreational Vehicles (RVs), Motorhomes, Travel Trailers, and 5th Wheels. Motorhomes older than 10 years are not allowed. The sites are gravel and the park is paved. There is no grass. The staff is described as friendly and the facilities are clean. The park is located near to the main road and an airport. There are no picnic tables or grills at the 88 available site spaces.
The park is sunny with no shade or grass, and there are no walking trails. The community is located in Mesa, east of Phoenix, Arizona. The area is known for the Mesa Grande Cultural Park that has ancient ceremonial mounds and artifacts of the Hohokam people. You can even find dinosaur skeletons at the Arizona Museum of Natural History. There is lots of country/western entertainment. The park is near to Arizona State University, the Hohokam Stadium, and shopping. If you are a nature lover, you may also choose to visit the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch.
Pets are welcome at this park but there are restrictions in terms of breed and the number of pets allowed. Owners are expected to clean up after their pets. Keep your pet on a leash when about the campground. There is a small grassy area for pets and a pet station located in a corner of the park.
