All dog breeds are welcome at the Austin East KOA, and pups are allowed at tent and RV sites. Keep your dog on a 6-foot leash at all times and ensure you clean up after them. Pets can't go into the swimming pool area, playground, or any KOA buildings. Pet policies differ from KOA to KOA, so double-check the rules before attending. 

RV sites throughout camp are well-equipped, with many providing full hookups that support 20, 30, and 50 amp electricity, as well as pull-through access for easy parking. 

The best feature for Fido at the Austin East KOA is the large 0.5-acre dog park, where your pupper can stretch their legs. There are lots of trees dotted throughout the camp, and many campsite patios have awnings where woofers can escape the Texan sun. 

Pet parents will find tons of fun activities around Austin East KOA. During the summer, campers can cool off in the camp swimming pool or just top up their tan poolside. There's also a playground for kids and classic campground games like horseshoes. Watch out for seasonal events, too, including chili cook-offs and live music.

Long Metropolitan Park, located just across the road from the KOA, as long as they stay on a leash. Plus, the campground is just 10 miles from downtown Austin, in case campers want to check out some local attractions or enjoy an alfresco meal with their pup by their side.
