Description

When the clock is ticking on your working days, it’s time to consider how and where you would like to spend your retirement. If road tripping is in your veins, you might want to vacation at Casa del Valle RV Resort to see if this could be your forever home.

The resort's prime location in the warm weathered heart of southern Texas is pawfect for folks who are 55 years or over to come to play or relax in a resort designed to inspire. RV sites are gifted with spacious concrete pads and full hookups to water, sewer, and electricity (30/50 amp).

Palm trees sway gently in a summer breeze here, offering a tropical atmosphere, but most sites are under a sun-lit sky. Grass on either side of each site is nicely trimmed, and sites come complete with a patio, a picnic table, and communal fire grills for barbecuing. The daily rate ranges from $20 to $38 depending on the season, with wifi and cable TV included.

Cozy one- and two-bedroom cottages are another option, with tasteful décor, a modern kitchen, and air conditioning. It’s also possible to hire an RV. No matter which way you stay, you can access the resort's pristine restrooms, showers, and laundry. You'll get to meet folks in a similar age group and enjoy swimming in the pool, playing horseshoes, pickleball, and tennis, or soaking in the hot tub.

Getting to a certain age doesn’t have to mean slowing down, and Casa del Valle RV Resort pours on the activity fun with dancing to live bands, karaoke, quilting, and hiking tours to keep guests entertained. Fitness fans can do a daily workout overlooking the pool and enjoy the security of a gated campground where safety comes first.

Snow birders fly the coop from their winter state to Casa del Valle for a season of sunshine and southern Texas charm. Many campers and retirees arrive with their furry friends in tow, and this resort rolls out the welcome mat for our canine compadres. Pooches must stay on a leash and have several areas for daily walks. Pet parents are, of course, expected to pick up their pal's waste.

Less than a 2-mile drive sees you in Alamo, a city marked in the history books. Pay a visit to the landmark church/museum where the infamous Battle of the Alamo was fought. The Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge is a must-see for bird-watchers and nature lovers living at the resort.

Book a site at Casa del Valle RV Resort and begin the next chapter of your life!
